JUVENILE JUSTICE

Children and youth with disabilities are at increased risk for justice system involvement. Though youth with disabilities are over-represented in the justice system, once they are there, they seldom receive the special education and health services to which they are entitled.

Families already under stress often struggle to understand the justice system and get answers to their questions regarding education, health care, re-entry, and more.
